And I did get out for a quick spin. 20 ish kilometres, I didn't venture far, but went up along Felltimber Creek Rd to tackle the first two climbs of a 50-ish km dirt and tar route I'm slowly piecing together.
I'll have to run the GPS over, but there are two sections in there that I think are well over 20% gradient - grinding up in granny 22/34. Nailed the first one, but bailed on the second one about 50 metres from the top. Seriously lactic by the time I finished them.
So not great on the odometer, but the intensity was there. Probably good hills to do some repeats on.
