This weekend, Canmore, Alberta, Canada, hosts the '24 Hours of Adrenalin' 24 Hour World Solo MTB Championships.
I understand 18 Australian riders have made the trip, including current Australian Champions, Jason English & Jess Douglas, plus mate and fellow Albury Wodonga MTB member, Damian Gillard.
Damo has been sponsored by our shop since year dot, is a very, very handy rider, came 7th at the Scott 24 Hour last year (solo), and has been training his arse off for this.
My sister in law Choppy is also over there, albeit as a crime of opportunity (backpacking through Canada at 'just the right time'). So I'm hoping she will be on hand to provide interwebby type updates for the period of the race.
