When The Moon Hits Your Eye...

Well, we made it. 3 flights and 30 hours in the air and we are in Rome.

No major dramas for us - some temporarily misplaced baggage at the airport. Met a couple from Syd in KL who were also heading to Rome, good value, plus they'd been here before, so they were able to give us some directions.

Have met up with Mike, Tim & Al Mat, 3 more of the party arriving tonight and tomorrow.

Spent the afternoon today at the Colluseum & Roman Forum, spectacular.

I am completely exhausted, only slept for 3 hours on all the flights, now 36 hours without any quality sleep. Nearly 6pm here and about to head for bed.

Girls have just headed out to try and find a bus tour around Rome.
